TG Center: The 1st Year News Coverage
| On July 25th, 2009 the TG Center celebrated its first year of service to the transgender community. Before the night was out, not only did the Mayor of Houston, Bill White declare that July 25th was “Transgender Center Day” in Houston, Texas, the Vice-Mayor, Sue Lovell, City of Houston Comptroller and Mayoral candidate Annise Parker and Houston City Council Member, Jolanda “Jo” Jones presented the TG Center with their own proclamations. To top it off, The Sate of Texas House of Representatives presented the TG Center with a proclamation from State Representative Ellen Cohen.
